Who am I ?

Hey, my name is Jordan Eccles and I'm just a usual teenager from Bolton in Lancashire. This is my first ever blog post and I don’t actually really know what to talk about, so I decided I would tell you all about me and what my interests and hobbies are, so I hope you enjoy this blog and enjoy reading all about me and my life.

From being a little child I have always known what I have wanted to do with my life. As childish and very "young like" this may sound I am happiest when I am on stage and this drives my passion for Acting/Drama and singing to a whole new level. I love being in shows and I know its the only career path I want to take. I have been in 6 shows in my life within the school I have just left the most recent being Grease where I played Danny Zuko ...

 Doing this show was one of the best things I have ever done. It helped me build up my confidence so much and I gained a lot of friends who I know ill stay in contact with! 

Moving on...

I have just recently left school and I am now in the holidays. I am trying to look for a job and just nowhere wants to employ me! :( I'm sure ill get there soon! 

My school prom has just been and it was truly one of the best nights of my life. I was with all my friends and I got to say my last goodbyes to all my teachers! We arrived there in a limo and we just had lots of fun all night, dancing, singing and just letting our hair down!

My life isn't always fun and games though I've been through hard times like I'm sure all other teenagers do but mines a bit different, and this is the best part about starting a blog. You can share your stories with other people who you may help. 

When I was around the age of 10, my mum sadly got diagnosed with breast cancer. This was what was to become a very hard time in my life and it literally shook the whole family up. Now I'm not looking for sympathy through this blog I just want to try something new and try and use my time more effectively. Luckily my Mum is absolutely fine and is this year, 7 years clear of cancer. But while all this was happening I did lose my Nana to lung cancer now I was only young but I had to grow up a lot and this death did hurt the family and I remember the struggle of having to get through it. Now my life is good again and I'm happy and all this taught me to appreciate life, family and friends and never take them for granted. We all do things that are wrong because nobody's perfect but don't live your life with it being full of regrets.

Luckily I've got an amazing supportive family and friends network who support me and help me to achieve my dream. I am now going onto study Acting at college then I want to do and get my Degree either in an Acting school in London or go and study abroad and travel the world.

This is just a fraction of my life and if this blog helps just one person and helps them realise that You CAN do it and Your NOT alone then that will put a huge smile on my face.
